Married. Two adult children and one grandchild.

Homeowner. Lived in Saint Paul for 33 years in four different wards.

Professional memberships: Saint Paul Rotary Club  (Board member 2020-2022), MN PRSA (Board Member 2020-2024), SARPA Board President (2015-2019). Midway YMCA member, Town & Country member, Holy Spirit parishioner.

Carolyn has spent her career as a broadcast journalist and public relations professional, helping people communicate clearly and work together. She’s ready to bring that same approach to city hall. She believes in safety that starts with accountability, neighbors helping neighbors, budgets that respect taxpayers, and a city that welcomes growth without forgetting its roots.

Carolyn is a moderate and independent — she’s not running to play politics. She’s running to serve the people of Saint Paul with integrity, balance, and real solutions.

As an agency owner, I have had wide-ranging clients for which I have held the leadership role, steering fundraising campaigns, forging partnerships, and spearheading brand-building events.

  • Led the planning, fundraising, and marketing of the North American debut of Luxmuralis “drive-in” light & sound shows on the façade of the Cathedral of Saint Paul during COVID.

  • Forged partnerships between an Ohio landlord, Wayzata property manager, Grand Ave Business Association, and local nonprofit, Circus Juventas, for a 4-month-long storefront window gallery project in the heart of Grand Ave Business District.
